Mt Hermon Photos 

On our trip up Mt Hermon last week we saw a great diversity of plant species in the 2000m Alpine meadows as well as in the montane valleys. The thing that amazed me most was the number of pollinating insects on the high plateau of Mt Hermon. The plants in flower were covered with throngs of different Lepidoptera species.
On the trip I was able to capture some nice landscape images and a selection of macro insect shots. It was a hot sunny day with very little wind, a bit of cloud cover is always good but still decent conditions for photography. I’m going to share some of those images below.
